An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Digital Training Department as Team Leader. The Trust is embarking on several significant digital transformation projects, enabling the Trust to realise its strategic ambitions for the establishment of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR), as well as the implementation of other integrated systems which will require training provision to ensure successful transitions.

The post holder will support the Acting Head of Digital Training to manage the day to day running of the Digital Training Department. Enabling the team to deliver training solutions in order to support the Digital Programme Team. The post holder will also play a key role in promoting the effective use of data, information, knowledge and technology to support digitally enabled clinical solutions.

The post holder is required to lead the development of effective learning solutions to support education and training of the Trust workforce and work with stakeholders to identify training needs and deliver efficient high-quality blended learning solutions.

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management, the design, development, implementation and evaluation of blended learning programmes to support the IT training requirements of the Trust workforce and to support the implementation of future EPR systems.

The post holder will work with the Acting Head of Training to ensure the training service provision conforms with agreed timescales, processes, procedures and guidelines and is in line with the agreed Key Performance Indicators

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology patients.
