We have an exciting opportunity for outgoing and enthusiastic individuals with a creative flair to join our team in Coatbridge and Bellshill on permanent basis as **Support Practitioners**. From 16 to 30 hour contracts available.

**You don't need experience to start your career with us, **we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills that you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ qualification too

**The Role**

Based within our busy Community Support branch in North Lanarkshire, our teams provide support to a small network of individuals living in Coatbridge and Bellshill with different health and support needs.

As a Support Practitioner, you will provide support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation and cooking, assisting with medication and other domestic tasks, including managing personal finances. You’ll also help the people we support to build upon their independent living skills, supporting them to maintain their home, supporting them to access varied activities in the community they enjoy including swimming and cooking, go away on regular breaks and holidays and sourcing new activities to try within the wider community.

**All we'll need you to bring is;**
- A full UK diving licence and access to a vehicle
- Great listening & communication skills
- A warm and friendly personality
- A caring attitude and approach
- The ability to work on your own initiative
- Confidence in the use of technology

**Shift Patterns**

Our dedicated team provide tailored support 7 days a week to 10 individuals. Shift fall between 8:00am and 21:00 and can vary due to activities and include alternate weekends and public holidays. Shift patterns are flexible and can include full days or half days dependant on contract size.
