Responsibilities:

- Assist in timely investigation of complaints and prepare detailed reports of findings, conclusion and resolution.
- Assist Head of Customer Operations and other Technical Inspector(s) in resolving complaints following investigation and reports.
- Communicate with customers in resolution of complaints.
- Carry out routine Quality Inspections of completed work.
- Following telephone queries to the head office provide technical assistance to the cavity wall insulation industry and the general public.
- Operate in a manner that is consistent with good Health and Safety practice and does not present hazards to others.
- Maintain awareness of relevant regulations and provide briefing notes as appropriate.
- Monitor and evaluate customer service standards and complaint KPI’s.
- Oversight and audit of Installer and System Designer Assessment activities.
- Carry out quality inspection to comply with the required surveillance rates in line with Performance Objectives and Department KPIs
- Carry out customer guarantee complaint investigations
- Work as a member of The IAA team to develop The IAA offer for the industry
Administration:

- Carry out planning, where necessary and maintain an effective diary, in conjunction with the central tasking team to maximise productivity.
- Carry out effective surveillance of installers in accordance with department specified process
- Confirm compliance with building suitability assessment/installations/ post installation quality inspections.
- Complete membership review documents maintaining a record of required follow up actions as necessary
- Complete customer compliant investigation reports against the customer journey as tasked
Improvements and Change:

- Follow all Procedures and processes relevant to own role. Identify when changes and updates are required, raising these promptly with line manager
- When required, lead and take responsibility for projects and making change happen, overcome barriers and ensure objectives are achieved
- Develop and write work instructions and procedure when required
Communication/Relationships:

- Communicate and work closely with managers and colleagues, building a team which supports each other’s and the organisations goals
- Act as mentor and trainer to colleagues when required and make suggestions to develop products and customer service
- Keep up to date with new development and changes in the company.
- Support company goals and business objectives
Knowledge, Skills and experience:

- Excellent communications and presentation skills
- Possess good interpersonal skills and an ability to work with and relate to the spectrum of personnel in the industry, from Trainee Technician to Managing Director
- Have good attention to detail, documentation and administrative skills
- Demonstrate good IT skills and ability to analyse data and prepare reports
- Possess the ability to work unsupervised
- In depth knowledge of the CWI, Loft, Solid Wall Room in Roof, Underfloor and Park Homes Installation industry, technical requirements and standards, including knowledge of allied insulation systems and techniques.
- Demonstrate Competent in line with current MTC-Minimum Technical Competence
- Work towards and obtain in depth Knowledge of further extended role measures, as and when required.
- Substantial track record in developing and delivering training programmes
- Familiarity with Health & Safety issues
- Familiarity with PAS 2030, PAS2031 and PAS2035
- Experience of carrying out internal and External Membership audits
- Verifier qualification
- NVQ CWI
- CSCS card
- Hold or be working towards internal audit qualification
- Clean driving license
