**Hours of work**:37.5 hours per week (open to negotiation) Full flexibility required at all times

**Salary**:£22,816 to £27,596 per annum

**Purpose**:
To develop and maintain successful partnerships with corporate supporters and Trust & Grant funders, including through grant funding, donations, Business Club
membership, sponsorship, employee fundraising and events, inline with the Fundraising Strategy.

**Principal Tasks**:

- To manage corporate partnerships to secure income for Blythe House Hospicecare & Helen’s Trust
- To research, approach and secure new corporate partnerships
- To work with the wider fundraising team to deliver and fulfil corporate partnerships
- To work with the Fundraising Manager and other team members to develop, implement and continually evaluate the Trust and Grant making strategy to maximise potential income from both regular and new Trusts and Foundations.
- To ensure that Trust income plays an active role in supporting the other fundraising income streams.

**Communications**:

- Contact and visit local businesses to promote ways to support the hospice
- Be a representative of Blythe House Hospicecare & Helen’s Trust and speak at local business events about the work of the hospice
- Attend events, networking opportunities, and other external meetings to build relationships with potential donors and raise the profile of the charity.
- Liaise with supporters who are fundraising to ensure they have everything they need and attend events to support, where appropriate, including cheque presentations
- Liaise with Marketing and Communications to manage external requests for publicity for fundraising events and activities that are being undertaken on behalf of the hospice
- Support the wider Fundraising Team as a representative of the hospice at events throughout the year.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the hospice’s activities and programmes to be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and potential funders.

**Fundraising**:

- Grow income from Corporate Fundraising through phoning and visiting local businesses and groups, supporting existing supporters and promoting new fundraising initiatives
- Identify, secure and develop new corporate partnership opportunities, focusing on Charity of the Year partnerships, Business Club membership, corporate donations, sponsorship opportunities, employee fundraising, payroll giving and gifts in kind
- Engage solicitors in our catchment area to expand the Wills Month campaigns both through engaging additional businesses and stewardship for those already supporting in this way.
- Facilitate corporate engagement events with the aim of increasing brand awareness amongst local businesses and on-boarding more corporate supporters
- Maintain and grow the Blythe House Hospicecare and Helen’s Trust Business Club and all that it entails.
- Research, plan and implement new fundraising initiatives in the areas of Corporate and Trust and Grant Fundraising
- Support our corporate donors and encourage their support and participation in our events and appeals
- Manage Just Giving and other on-line giving sites for corporate events, and ensure that donors and participants are thanked in a timely and appropriate manner
- Increase tax efficient giving and matched funding across all donations and increase our knowledge and understanding of donors
- Foster new relationships and maintain existing relationships with corporate donors to encourage regular/long term giving.
- Utilise and continue to update the fundraising database with records of all communications with donors and potential supporters.
- Monitor and manage the existing Trust pipeline, recording all Trust fundraising activity on Donorflex.
- Further develop compelling funding proposals working closely with relevant colleagues across the charity in conjunction with the relevant team manager.
- Forge close working relationships with the fundraising team and other departments to ensure that Trust fundraising is an integrated income stream that contributes to the department’s overall strategy.
- To build relationships with new Trusts and Grant making bodies.
- To prepare all relevant reports required by Trusts and Grant making bodies and generate publicity for their activities

**Fundraising & Communications Strategy**:

- Support the Fundraising Manager to deliver a Fundraising & Communications Strategy
- Develop long term relationships with supporters through outstanding supporter care
- Ensure all corporate fundraising policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current legislation and the Fundraising Code of Conduct
- Establish good processes and measures to ensure that our activities deliver against objectives and conform to the highest standards of regulations and procedures
