Warehouse Operative

**Warehouse Operative (Permanent)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles
- Moving and storing products in the correct warehouse area
- Processing, picking and packing orders in a timely manner,
- Ensuring all produce is fresh and free from damage and reporting any discrepancies
- Upkeep of necessary records and reports
- Cleaning and maintaining warehouse equipment to set standards
- Moving pallets using a forklift truck (training provided if necessary)
- Consistently working to good standards of health and safety and meeting company warehouse standards and procedures
- Liaise with Management on all stock and assist with stock take

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedure
- Ability to operate forklifts a safely and efficiently, but full training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
