Role description:
A Senior Resource Planner at Arcadis will play an instrumental part to ensure we have the ‘right people at the right time in the right place’ in order to deliver short
- and long-term business plans and strategy.

Reporting into the Resource Manager, they will manage resource in various portfolios within the Places UK Global Business Area. The role will be key to balance business financial targets (utilisation and multiplier) and deliver a positive Client experience by allocating our staff to projects in an effective manner to deliver exceptional results to our clients.

The senior Resource Planner will be responsible for operational and strategic forecasting and will work closely with the wider Strategic Workforce Planning team to provide analytics to the business while working collaboratively.

Role accountabilities:

- Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in the business to build an understanding of business need in the short and longer term.
- Publish regular set metrics, reporting consistently and providing valuable insight to the business, bringing data to life to support resourcing decisions.
- Implement resource levelling across business line by monitoring supply and demand. Optimise resourcing model through governance and allocation of permanent staff, contingent workers and use of GEC in accordance with commercial plans, client need and meeting our employer of choice objectives.
- Provide insight on skills and capabilities required as well as insight into the analytics, modelling and data integrity required for successful resource deployment.
- Working with SWP peers to identify and build towards best practice and continue to evolve our approach to SWP.
- Proactively engage in resource demand profiling for new client wins and support bid submissions under the ‘Pursuit to Win’ framework
- Undertake project work as required by the Ops Director.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Experienced and commercially aware resource/workforce planner with a proven track record in a similar role.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a keen eye for detail and high level of data accuracy
- Experience of managing conflict resolution
- Confident communicator - used to dealing with people at all levels
- Experience of mentoring/developing junior staff
- Desired: Experience in the Place/Buildings sector
- Desired: Experience using resource management systems/Power BI
