We are excited to advertise the newly created role of Active Wellbeing Project Officer, on a 37 hour per week fixed-term contract ending 31 March 2025. This role is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and will contribute towards creating a more Active Tamworth, and link with local partners, national and countywide strategies, including Sport England’s 10-year vision ‘Uniting the Movement’.

The role will be based at Anker Valley Sports Complex, with outreach to the local community. Responsibilities will include key holding, opening and closing the venue and being a designated First Aider.

If you have a background in delivering sport/physical activity in the community and have strong project management and delivery skills and enjoy working as part of a team but are also able to work on your own initiative, then you could be just who we are looking for.

Applicants must have the ability to work 5 days out of 7 per week including bank holidays and weekends as required as part of a rota system.
