Legal Cashier

Expert Recruits are delighted to be working with an independent, fast growing law firm in Luton in their search for an experienced Legal Cashier.

Joining this thriving firm and assisting in the smooth running of the practice, you will be attending to various financial transactions; work of the firm and its internal operations and management.

Day to day you’ll be involved in a busy workload:

- Daily bank reconciliations
- Card payment reports & posting;
- Accounts payable, processing invoices and expenses
- Process bill requests;
- Process billing of disbursements & raise bills;
- Processing staff expenses
- Enter chaps/faster payments and upload to the bank;
- Assisting with SRA audits
- Queries and Ad hoc duties as required

You’ll need to be highly organised and pragmatic, holding excellent communication skills with a positive can-do attitude. As a team player you’ll need to be self-confident, adaptable and flexible.

Ideally, you’ll have prior experience in a similar role (senior position) within a legal practice with good knowledge of the SARs and VAT compliance. You’ll have good time management skills with the ability to multi-task and handle interruptions.
