- **Passenger Transport **services including supported local bus services, community transport, Bus Rapid Transit, bus priority, bus and rail station interchanges, Real Time passenger information, bus stops and shelters.- In 2021, the government launched Bus Back Better, their National Bus Strategy, which places new requirements on Local Transport Authorities aimed at improving the bus offer around the country. This role within the Bus Strategy part of the Passenger Transport team will play a pivotal role in delivering improvements to local bus services in Hampshire working in partnership with bus operators.- The focus of this role is to deliver projects and initiatives that are set out within Hampshire's Enhanced Partnership (EP) and Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) - our strategy for improving the quality, reliability and perception of local bus services in Hampshire, that is seeking to drive an increase in bus passenger numbers.-
