**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Ensuring all relevant jobs for the day are completed
- Monitoring paint line density keeping it at a high level
- Checking chemical levels are correct
- Making sure all water tanks are sufficiently full
- Reporting to your line manager any errors in inventory
- Ensuring the paint line is sufficiently manned during breaks
- Liaising with purchasing over any consumables that may be needed
- Monitoring quality control and ensuring every product is painted to the best possible standard
- Ensuring all finished jobs are scan on the system
- Making sure each individual understands their roles and responsibilities for the day
- Monitoring KPI’s
- Maintain Health & Safety
- Ensuring all work areas are cleaned down including automated guns, drums, spray booths, pipes and hoppers
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times

**Key Skills**
- Good communicator. Ensure good communication with first shift manager - ensure detailed, effective handovers at start and end of shift
- Previous paint line experience is a must
- Previous experience with chemicals and understanding clean down and pre-treatment methods a must
- Hands on role, must be able to manage your team whilst being involved in the process
- Excellent eye for details
- Quality Orientated
- Strong minded individual with experience of managing a small team
- Proactive, physically fit, quick thinking and a good problem solver
- Ability to read and write to a good standard
- Good communicator and be able to take and give orders

Forklift licence - advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
