**The Role**

Are you an experienced Materials Controller from within the manufacturing sector looking for new challenge? If so, we are looking for you.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and conscientious individual to join our team to coordinate the movement of materials between departments, inwards movements and outgoing shipments.

The purpose of the role is to create records of materials movements in the company, communicating with Procurement and Logistics and carrying out safety checks. Associated activities include preparing and creating the shipping documentation and ensuring operations follow company and industry regulations.

This is a full-time position, based in Farnborough, Hampshire and belongs to the Industrial Division EMEA & APAC reporting to the Production Supervisor.

**Key Responsibilities**:
The key responsibilities of a Materials Controller include, but are not limited to:

- Manages the material inside the Farnborough site - both physically and transactionally
- Ensures stock levels are correct
- Supports auditing of the stock management
- Use material movement equipment - usage, operational checks and safety compliance
- Create shipping documentation - packing list, invoices and waybills
- Identify appropriate packing solutions to the business and projects
- Packing and use of packing material equipment
- Engages directly with deliveries and shipment collections
- Reviews appropriate delivery details prior to transactions into the building
- Communicates issues of deliveries and shipments with Logistics and Procurement
- Uphold the Company’s core values of integrity, commitment, accountability, innovation, and respect

**The Person**

The key skills and qualities of a Materials Controller are:

- Strong experience in a Goods In and Stores environment
- Forklift/Counterbalance Licence holder
- Attention to detail
- Excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills
- Proactive nature, willing to learn quickly and take new challenges
- Health & Safety awareness in production environment
- Fully PC literate
- Experience in MRP systems
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships
- Team working skills across departments
- Strong problem solving skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
