Key Responsibilities

The Product Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and will play a key role in ensuring that we meet the needs of our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting and participating in key milestone reviews
  • Generating and releasing PA documentation
  • Negotiating and managing PA requirements for contracts
  • Ensuring material and parts are procured in accordance with contractual requirements
  • PA supplier management
  • Chairing customer-facing Major Non-conformance review boards

The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering or physical science, with experience in product assurance and compliance. You will be expected to have excellent people management skills, with the ability to effectively engage with all stakeholders, motivate and influence individuals, and deliver projects against specific customer PA requirements.

A degree in Engineering or Physical Science is required, with 3+ years' experience in Product Assurance, preferably in the space sector. Experience of working to ECSS standards would be advantageous, as well as knowledge of EEE Components or Materials & Processes.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
