**St Andrew’s College
We have opportunities for experienced, energetic and creative occupational therapists to join our outstanding school, St Andrew’s College, which is situated within our CAMHS service and caters for 30 children and young people.

Our school was rated good by Ofsted with Outstanding awarded for behaviour and attitudes in June 2021 and we pride ourselves on delivering individualised outcomes for all students.

We provide a bespoke curriculum of education and therapy to each child based on a trauma informed approach.You would be joining a motivated and highly engaged team and would have the exciting opportunity to build, develop and collaborate on the therapeuticprogramme we offer.

**The role
This presents a fantastic opportunity for OT specialists who are keen to gain experience and undertake further career development within a therapeutic school setting. We are looking for individuals who are able to adapt and deliver high quality OccupationalTherapy within a well-established team and to make significant difference to the lives of young people and their families.

The roles are school based, but working alongside other multi-disciplinary colleagues within our CAMHS hospital. There will be ongoing opportunities to develop clinical skills, receive regular clinical supervision and you will be able to demonstrate thehighly specialist skills you have developed over your career.

You will also be joining the wider charity where access to peer support and best practice sharing between OT’s is readily accessible.

Leadership and highly tuned clinical reasoning are required to lead the therapy provided on the ward together with experience of being a senior member of the ward team. You will also be competent in the management and supervision of staff, have in depthknowledge about gender specific care, have a thirst for research have a working knowledge of national policy, clinical guidelines and be committed to continuous improvement.

- To work within a specialist education setting committed to the provision of high quality personalised education and therapy to achieve the best outcomes for the children in our care.
- Opportunities to work closely with, and alongside, carers and families and other multi-disciplinary team members.
- Developing or undertaking further training in DBT, Sensory Integration and Trauma informed Care
- Opportunities to develop your assessment and formulation skills through using child focused O.T. assessments and development of personalise occupational therapy care plans.
