Thesuccessful candidate will be able to demonstrate the highly specialist skillsthey have developed over their career as well as the ability to manage and leadothers. The successful candidate will be accountable and responsible for drivingthe occupational therapy strategy forward; leading on continual qualityimprovement and service innovation. They will also require the skills to rolemodel and energise the workforce; understanding that the health and wellbeingof our staff is critical to the care and treatment of those using our service.

Main duties of the job

Asthe Lead Occupational Therapist, you will take on a pivotal leadership role,overseeing an established and talented team of OTs. Your expertise will guide ourmultidisciplinary approach to care, ensuring that our patients receive thehighest quality of personalised therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadershipand Management: Inspire, mentor, anddevelop a team of skilled occupational therapists, fostering a culture ofexcellence and innovation.

ClinicalExpertise: Utilise your advanced clinical skills to assess, plan, and implementcomprehensive treatment programs tailored to the unique needs of individualswith learning disabilities and autism.

Collaboration:Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists,psychiatrists, nurses, Speech & Language Therapists and Physiotherapists todeliver holistic and patient-centred care.

Innovation:Lead initiatives to implement cutting-edge therapeutic techniques andinterventions, enhancing the overall effectiveness of our services.
