D & M Plant Hire Ltd based in Oxfordshire have an exciting opportunity within the Transport and Plant Hire Industry.

Due to ongoing growth of the business, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work within our Transport & Plant Maintenance Department as a Transport and Parts Coordinator to assist the Transport Manager. This will be a varied role to include
- Day to Day running of the Parts Department o Ensuring parts are ordered when required as per workshop requirements
- Ensuring the relevant departments, e.g. workshop and office staff are aware of ordering and processing of parts
- Building up and maintaining supplier relationships in order to obtain favourable terms and prices
- Control purchasing, stock levels and consumables for the department
- Transport and Plant Service Interval Management o Ensuring that all transport and plant servicing is maintained within manufacturer and/or warranty intervals
- Transport and Plant Breakdown Coordination o Liaising with other departments and sites to coordinate recovery and repair of plant in the most efficient and timely manner
- Administrative Support to the department

The successful applicant will:

- Ideally have a minimum of one years’ experience working within a similar role
- Demonstrate an understanding of parts process from ordering, pricing and invoicing along with an awareness of stock control
- Be self-motivated and able to work under own initiative and as part of a team
- Understand plant and transport machinery
- Have good IT skills to include Microsoft Office
- High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
- Be a Team player, collaborative and open to finding workaround solutions for challenging situations

Hours - Full time, 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday

**Salary**: Dependant on experience
