XEIAD, part of the BES Group are recruiting for a Commercial Assistant.

**The role**:
As a Commercial Assistant reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting daily commercial operations for assigned contracts. This includes managing contracts for various infrastructure projects across different regions.

**What you will be doing**:

- Assist in the commercial management of assigned contracts, ensuring adherence to cost control processes.
- Accurately record contract revenue and costs, and ensure timely and accurate billing.
- Support the Application for Payment and Invoicing processes, ensuring timely submissions.
- Monitor project fees against client purchase order values and escalate issues as needed.
- Facilitate supplier works order processes and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Support supplier onboarding processes in coordination with relevant departments.
- Assist in cost allocation and reconciliation processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Follow company policies and procedures, and contribute to the development of commercial skills within the team.
- Engage with clients and suppliers professionally, fostering strong relationships and promoting best practices.
- Collaborate with operational teams to manage client relationships effectively.

**Essential Qualifications & Skills**
- Graduate/Student Member of relevant Institution (e.g. RICS) (desirable)
- UK Driving licence
- Experience in a Commercial position
- Supporting the commercial management of contracts with a minimum £1m commercial responsibility
- Working knowledge of NR4 and NR3 contracts(desirable)
- Working knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts(desirable)
- Experience of Applications for Payment, Client Works Instructions and Change Control
- Experience of Supply Chain management including instruction of Works Orders and MS Office proficiency
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Organisation and time management skills
- Communication skills-verbal and written
- People-management skills
