An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Advanced Assistant Technical Officer - Cleanroom Supervisor to join our team. For this role you will have experience of working in a pharmacy cleanroom. We are looking for an excellent team player with strong organisational skills who is highly motivated and with a practical knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice.
Support the aseptic manufacture of medicines using aseptic technique in pharmaceutical isolators and laminar flow cabinets, following validated methods and standard operating procedures.
Perform a range of organisational, supervisory and manufacturing functions within the pharmacy aseptic unit in order to provide an efficient and quality service.
Be responsible for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliant supervision in the aseptic suite for MS licensed manufacture and section 10 preparation of medicines in the UHBW pharmacy production unit.
Supervise both SATOs and technicians during the manufacture of aseptic products and carry out production of Aseptic intravenous products and eye drops, using aseptic technique and working within a strictly controlled environment in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice.
The post holder will perform pre and in-process checks on all aseptic products manufactured/prepared in the unit.
