Kitchen Porter

Job Introduction
Heritage Portfolio has an established reputation for creating stylish, memorable, and glamorous events across Scotland. We have fantastic opportunity for **a Kitchen Porter **to join our team at the stunning Dundas Castle

This is a vital role making service possible and providing support for the whole operations team. You will be organised, communicating positively with the whole team and take pride in delivering sparkling clean equipment and premises in a fast-paced environment. Hours of work will vary each week, with majority of shifts being in the evening and at weekends.

Own transport is essential as the site is not supported by public transport

**What you’ll do**:

- Ensure the cleanliness standards of presentation of the back of house, front of house and storage areas are maintained
- To ensure that all tableware, serving dishes & cooking utensils are cleaned in a timely manner
- To operate an industrial dishwasher
- To always maintain clean working environment, with special regard to hygiene.
- To ensure the proper storage/disposal of all waste products
- To assist with deliveries of goods
- To exercise due care & attention to ensure mínimal breakages of equipment.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter.
- Have excellent levels of personal hygiene and presentation standards
- Be consistently and punctual
- Positive attitude, being friendly yet professional
- A team player with an ability to work in a busy environment
- Good attention to detail and punctuality
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
