Job Description Job Responsibilities SERVICE DELIVERY 1. To undertake, as requested, unsupervised routine maintenance and Planned Preventative Maintenance that does not justify the attention of a fully qualified Engineer. Provision of the hospital Loan Store facility, to ensure maximum availability of infusion pumps in the Loan Store. Identify returning Loan Store pumps due for Planned Preventative Maintenance.

Initial point of contact (personal and telephone) into Medical Engineering. Resolve a range of issues without referring on. Book all equipment returning to Medical Engineering into computer work tracking system. Identify unusual trends or symptoms with test equipment or equipment under test in Loan Store pump test room, for further investigation at Supervisory level.

Organisation of total personal workload, including - Loan Store, battery reconditioning and disposal, equipment returns to the wards, stock checks, telephone queries, waste disposal, mail delivery, work booking on computer system, post patient use checks on infusion pumps, nebulisers, Electrical Safety Testing, workshop cleanliness duties.
