An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice to work in the Council’s Corporate Finance Section and to study for the level 2 & 3 AAT qualification (Association of Accounting Technicians).

The apprenticeship is for 3 years and as well as attending college to study for AAT you will have the opportunity to develop your accountancy skills by supporting a wide range of finance-related tasks including assisting in the delivery of the schools buy back service, supporting finance officers as part of the wider budget monitoring process, assisting with the maintenance, development and support to users of the Councils Financial Management system (Integra) and reconciling a range of holding accounts relating to areas such as banking, payroll and income.
