**The Role**

We are currently recruiting for a Plants and Finance Administrator for our client a Fresh Produce Grower based around the Maidstone location in Kent. The role will be a 50/50 split role working within the Finance Team as an Administrator whilst managing the Weekly Growers Plant Orders on behalf of our client.

Reporting to the EU Finance Manager, you would ideally have worked previously within a Finance Team as an Admin / Officer managing SL, PL, with Credit Control and Bank Rec experience as 50% of your time will be allocated to this aspect of the role, whilst the other 50% will be managing the end -end process of the Grower Plant Orders coming into the business
- Good time management and IT skills, including being proficient in using Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Powerpoint
- Well-developed personal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a wide range of colleagues and partner personnel
- Able to work unsupervised and to work with colleagues across professional, operational and cultural boundaries
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle a number of tasks at once and meeting deadlines as required
- Ability to present data and information in a simple way for a non-technical audience
- Has good attention to detail

**Key Requirements**
- Managing plant orders on behalf of the growers and their suppliers of fresh produce
- Prepare all the documentation for the annual plant order and circulate it to the growers
- Collect and manage all grower plant orders, facilitating interchanges between growers if required
- Manage all order collation, data entry and validation of all plant orders
- Prepare reports and pivot tables from the gathered data and make them available to regular relevant personnel and stakeholders;
- Build strong collaborative relationships with relevant personnel in the business and its growers
- Confirm grower orders with my client and
- Assist growers with their plant claims through the process, ensuring that BGG has oversight;
- Provide my client and their suppliers the metrics on plant supply to review YOY performance, quality complaints and other matters associated with plant supply where appropriate;
- Oversee grower cropping declarations of proprietary material in line with the grower license agreement ensuring they are annually updated with the latest cropping areas
- Coding and processing of all purchase invoices and payments
- Maintain Sales Ledger & Credit control
- Maintain and reconcile bank accounts
- Assist in preparation for RPA claims and audits & assist in management of on-site audits
- Collation, data entry and validation of all plant orders;
- Provide regular data updates to relevant personnel and stakeholders;
- Liaise with various stakeholders to review the plant orders, their accuracy and their ability to meet the quantities of fruit required by our client
- Update fixed asset register on a monthly basis
