We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and hard-working individual, to provide comprehensive data entry support to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St Michael's Hospital in Bristol.

The NICU Data Administrator will be actively responsible for the daily management of data collection and entry, ensuring deadlines are achieved by the successful coordination of workload. The data collected is essential for ongoing work with research, national and local audits, studies and finance.

We are looking for an individual who has excellent organisational, communication and administrative skills who is able to work to deadlines and show attention to detail at all times.

You must have excellent IT and literacy skills and be able to organise and prioritise work effectively, efficiently and flexibly.
- Maintain BadgerNet database (National Neonatal Care Record System) for NICU, Transitional Care and Postnatal wards.
- File paperwork in patient notes as and when required.
- Provide accurate and timely entry of NICU daily activity data onto BadgerNet database. Collecting data from various Trust systems.
- Undertake any other duties as delegated to the post holder by the Quality & Patient Safety Intelligence Manager, within the post holder’s competence.
- Provide accurate and timely entry of admission, discharges and daily activity for Transitional Care and Postnatal wards onto BadgerNet database.
- To maintain confidentiality and to comply with the terms of the Data Protection Act and any local Trust policies at all times.
