Your role at a glance
To provide a professional PA service to leaders in the Retail Division (DR's of Retail Executive Senior Leadership Team and other leaders as required), with excellent attention to detail and pro-active approach in supporting all aspects of their day-to-day activities.

What you'll be doing
- Diary management, including the optimisation of time spent both in various locations and time spend travelling making the necessary travel and other logístical arrangements.
- Support in organising Events/Away Days/Conferences for the leader and their teams as required.
- Onboarding of any new direct reports of the relevant leaders, desk move management, team organisation charts, distribution lists in a timely manner to support business priorities.
- Plan and prepare required agendas and minutes and associated PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets to a high standard ensuring the Leader is aware of their own action points from previous meetings so that any outstanding actions can be quickly addressed.
- Initiating payment of invoices/expenses dealing with queries which subsequently arise, maintaining other Group systems as required such as managing filing and archiving, keeping accurate and confidential records in respect of Direct Reports holidays, sickness, expenses, corporate hospitality and entertaining etc. in order that Group and departments reports are accurate and comply with Group standards.
- Work effectively with wider L&G Retail PA community to ensure there is always high-quality support in place and providing cover during absence and periods of high workload to enable continuity and successful delivery in the business area.
- Ensure a consistent, timely and accurate level of service is maintained in line with promises made to meet customers’ expectations, and that are within scope of Legal & General’s Treating Customers Fairly policy.

What we're looking for
- Experience within a PA role.
- Systems including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word PowerPoint, Excel, and other relevant software packages that support the full range of administrative activities.
- Either have, or ability to build a general understanding of the company structure from Executive Director level, through to PA’s Direct Reports and all Retail teams.
- Either have, or ability to build knowledge of organisational infrastructure and a broad network of contacts at all relevant locations.
- Prioritise busy work to importance and deadlines and to be flexible in a continuously changing environment.
- Proactive in dealing with all problems that arise in the relevant leader’s absence. Seek proactive resolution and continuously suggest ways of improving existing processes and procedures.
- Capable of working alone and unguided, dealing with any situation that arises and doing all necessary advance work for the leader to minimise their workload.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills at all levels and the ability to create a strong internal network.
- Ability and willingness to grasp new or unfamiliar software quickly when necessary.
