You’ll be someone who can work pro-actively, managing your own tasks, but you’ll also be confident collaborating with others, communicating regularly with senior managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners to enable us to serve our clients effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to our clients.

The key purpose of this role is to ensure the Firm comply with its obligations for internal VAT accounting, VAT reporting to HMRC, and PSA compliance.

Working alongside your manager, you will play a key role in the constant improvement of the Finance Team and de-risking of the organisation.

You’ll be someone with:

- Sound understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail is essential when reviewing invoices and processing adjustments to correct over/under claiming of tax.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are critical as this role liaises with all partner/staff grades across the Firm.
- An understanding of both VAT and personal tax.
