gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Maintenance Coordinator to work at their facility based near Wigan
**Performance Objectives**
- Management of the maintenance system & software to ensure all planned preventative maintenance & Engineering work requests are prioritised and coordinated.
- Creating a visual plan, so that everyone is aware what needs to be done, by when and by who.
- Evaluate completed work orders / breakdown reports to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Liaise with Engineering team leader & stores to ensure all items needed to complete work requests are available on time.
- Organize and liaise with arranged contractors, ensuring that all activity is carried out safely.
- Employ a continuous improvement mindset to maximise the efficiency of shutdowns to minimise operational downtime.
- Owner of the Planned Maintenance Pillar within the Companies Performance System, driving, supporting and improving our planned maintenance programs to ensure all items are within regulatory compliance.
- Working with the stores, improve availability of consumables and critical spares. Making sure we have what we need when we need it.

**Person Specification**
- Apprentice Trained HNC (Desirable), or equivalent within a maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of both mechanical and electrical maintenance processes.
- IT literate. Knowledge of MS office is a must, use of Agility or similar CMS will be advantageous.
- Ability to organise, coordinate and complete multiple tasks.
- Demonstrate ability to build and maintain good working relationships internally & externally.
- Attention to detail and forward thinking
