The role is a full-time Business Development Manager (B2B Media) based in the Leeds or Sheffield offices.
**Role Requirements**:

- Previous experience of working in advertising/ business media is advantageous but not essential as training is given. More importance will be given to the range of relevant experience.
- Your CV should indicate you have been communicating effectively and interacting at a senior level with clients and have had sales training to equip you with the necessary sales techniques and skills in order to win orders.
- Strong motivation and drive to succeed to maximum potential are essential
- Innovative and creative with a natural curiosity to hunt for new business opportunities.
- Persuasive personality with a hard-headed approach - somebody who is not easily defeated.
- Works well under pressure to hit regular deadlines.
- Attention to detail - good organisational skills
- Perceptive, diplomatic, resourceful, mature
- Able to work independently and be a team player when required.
- Patient, persuasive and when necessary, a good sense of humour

**Role Responsibilities**:

- To keep up to date with all company products and services and have an in-depth knowledge of them in order to market and sell effectively.
- Develop a defined Yorkshire territory with a mix of existing clients and growing the territory with the acquisition of new clients.
- Increase revenues and achieving sales growth by hitting targets and objectives. Achieved by increasing income from existing clients and securing support from new clients through strong consultative sales skills
- Develop our range of products and services and maximising the opportunity to take new products to market when they are launched.
- To be able to effectively use the company CRM system, keeping it updated and using it to its maximum benefit to regularly market and update clients.
- To take the initiative and be proactive in coming forward with innovative ideas which could benefit the team and wider company.
