The main focus for this position is to be responsible for the smooth management of client’s meetings and event enquiries in a timely and professional manner. Providing a venue sourcing service second to none, including rate negotiations, producing A* proposals and adapting a consultative approach.

You will been working on multiple accounts and need to be adaptable to manage multiple enquiries and be able to work in a fast paced fun environment with mínimal supervision.

**Summary of Role including Key Responsibilities**

The Meeting & Event Executive will be responsible for a portfolio of clients as well as supporting with promoting Bien Venue to new clients. This is a varied role combining day to day co-ordination of key clients, supporting the growth and account management of clients and identifying new opportunities with lapsed or potential clients. You will be working with SLAs, KPIs and the CRM system. As part of the Client Services team, this role’s main objective is to deliver A* service to all clients, exceed client expectations and provide a professional consultative approach to supporting our clients.
- Qualify new enquiries or leads while building rapport with the client.
- Source suitable, relevant venues throughout the UK and worldwide including Wild Cards and ensuring all proposals are A* and exceed the client brief.
- Account management and day to day co-ordination of a portfolio of clients within the Client Services team
- Be accountable and take ownership for the enquiries that you are working on for our clients. Act as a consultant, ensuring you are adding value to the clients enquiry
- Pro-actively and consultatively provide solutions to challenges, including suggestions on how to enhance the event and naturally up-sell Bien Venue’s portfolio of services
- Preparation of proposals using creativity and ‘outside-the-box’ thinking as well as ensuring every document is impeccable and in line with BVs standards as well as using wildcard venues and making personal recommendations. Ensuring that all enquiries include added value
- Rate and commission negotiations with third parties or suppliers and verifying they are in line with the internal guidelines and provide best commercial terms for both the client and Bien Venue. Ensuring that the decisions made are commercially viable, and are working towards achieving revenue targets
- Building strong relationships with key bookers and upselling the Bien Venue portfolio of services at every opportunity
- Keep updated on venue and product knowledge through visiting venues, related exhibitions and reading industry news
- Participate in venue visits, FAMs and industry events and encourage the team to enhance they venue knowledge through various channels (FAMs, Industry Events, Industry Literature)
