The core purpose of the role is to provide a professional, efficient and effective service across the school, to improve student attendance by tracking, monitoring and supporting students and their families where poor attendance is identified as a barrier to learning. This will be in accordance with the school’s agreed policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation maintaining confidentiality and high professional standards at all times.- To offer structured wellbeing interventions to students that support reintegration into school and remove barriers to learning. To work with students to raise their self-esteem and confidence and to have an awareness of emotional based school avoidance and be able to develop strategies to help support students to regulate their emotions. To support with the impact of adverse childhood experiences on student attendance and engagement in learning.-
- The normal hours of work are 36 hours per week: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 4:00pm and Friday, 8:00am to 3:45pm. Additional holidays cannot be taken during term time.-
