A vacancy has arisen for an Administration Assistant within our expanding office in the centre of Berwick. Sayturk’s privately held companies manage over 10 individually designed concept bars, night clubs, pubs, cafes, and luxury holiday accommodations in the Northeast of England.
Our aim is to ensure we exceed our customer’s wishes during their leisure time with us.
**ROLE**
To support the director, bar managers and bookkeepers in all administration functions.
The position encompasses collection of sales figures from our various sites, generating cash sheets, processing information into QuickBooks and ensuring information is correct for Vat submission.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- To ensure the accurate and timely recording, coding, checking and payment of invoices in line with company procedures and guidelines.
- To reconcile supplier statements, ensuring that any discrepancies are investigated and deal with supplier queries.
- Allocate bank receipts to the appropriate accounts against the appropriate invoices.
- Preparation and review of VAT Submissions.

- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to work well within a team as well as autonomously
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to organise, schedule and adapt work tasks to meet deadlines and respond to changing situations
- Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain accuracy
- Proactivity
**EXPERIENCE**
- Use of IT packages such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (required)
