**OVERVIEW OF THE POST**

As a working supervisor you will be responsible for leading delivery of grounds maintenance works, primarily with social housing providers including Wythenshawe Community Housing Gateway, as well as other local landowners.

Outside of the traditional seasonal grounds maintenance practices you will be involved with supporting the Land Team’s portfolio of work relating to garden upgrades on behalf of social housing providers, plus the delivery of green space improvement projects for community based organisations such as schools or community allotments.

**Delivery**
- To lead the physical delivery of grounds maintenance services at a range of sites and support the delivery of practical landscaping projects
- Provide effective day to day management and supervision of contracts including allocation of tasks, normally as part of a two
- or three-person team.
- Ensure the safe and efficient running of individual jobs on site, planning and prioritising required tasks and following all risk assessments and method statements, to ensure effective and timely completion of work.

**Business & Service Development**
- Day to day liaison with customers representatives, including use of relevant technology to support effective service development and
- To maintain positive relationships with customers, stakeholders and other members of the public affected by works on site

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,428.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39.5 per week
