**About the role**

The Project, Programme and Portfolio Management (PMO) function is responsible for supporting project delivery across Digital, Data and Technology.

The Border Systems PMO sits within the Migration and Borders Technology Portfolio (MBTP, part of DDAT) and delivers digital services that are best in class for government, helping the Home Office achieve its ambitions.

As a Governance and Reporting Manager in the Border Systems PMO, you will be responsible for controlling governance activities, enabling projects to be effectively managed and ensuring decisions are made at the appropriate levels.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Previous experience of managing governance and reporting within a large project.
- Ensure that governance is aligned to the framework.
- Be able to get up to speed quickly with the complexity of the work.
- Be able to scope and plan large pieces of work.
- Confident working with stakeholders and teams - UKVI, Border Force, DDAT..
- Organization of project/programme boards, minutes, documentation, agendas, and reports..
- Confident setting up meetings i.e., board members, engagement staff.
- Analysis of data.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prioritization and organization skills.
- Be highly proactive.
- Ideally PMO/PSO background skillset for this role.
- Desirable - Possess Project qualifications.
