Job Description

Allianz Partners invites you to apply for the position of Risk and Governance Manager in our UK & Ireland business unit. As part of this exciting opportunity, you will contribute to driving the development of our UK compliance framework by providing practical, proactive compliance advice and guidance to first-line teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing effective compliance strategies to manage regulatory risk in line with our risk appetite;
  • Collaborating with Compliance team members and first-line colleagues to identify and mitigate areas of high regulatory and conduct risk;
  • Ensuring the continued evolution of a proportionate control environment to effectively manage key regulatory risks;
  • Providing timely and accurate reporting on regulatory matters, including risk incidents to senior management and relevant governance forums;
  • Oversight of first-line defences through review of KPIs and follow-up on identified risks.

About You & What We Require
We are seeking an experienced Compliance professional with 5+ years of experience within a Compliance function. Essential skills include:

  • A sound knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements and key conduct-related priorities in insurance;
  • Ability to independently manage a portfolio of work and balance demands of maintaining high-quality work and delivering to deadlines;
  • Familiarity with unfamiliar businesses, processes, or products;
  • Focus on timely delivery of quality outputs;
  • Proportionate decision-making regarding risk, controls, and materiality.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately £62,000 - £82,000 per annum, depending on experience.
