An exciting opportunity exists for a resourcing and rostering specialist to be a key player within the Health Roster Team.

This is a real opportunity for a strong analytical and data driven problem solver to make a difference to the resourcing requirements of the organisation, enabling the divisions to focus on delivering outstanding patient care.

The post holder will work closely with the Team Manager to lead on the System administration of Health Roster and the support of e-Rostering solution and end user trainings.

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of e-Rostering support to users at all levels across the organisation, engaging with services to ensure that they have sufficient knowledge and skills to use and interpret the rostering system and follow best practices. The post holder will utilise reporting systems that facilitate the analysis of trends and identification of hotspots with regard to rostering information.

Assist with the implementation of new rosters in the trust and work with the Operational Team Leads for timely delivery of their updates.
- Work with managers and develop rosters, which suit department needs and are within the established budget
- Liaise with Trust colleagues in Workforce Information and Finance to ensure data is accurate and complete
- Provide specialised rostering support to staff, identify and analyse problems and develop solutions
- Provide initial support for implemented rosters until sign off
- Maintain implementation documentation for system updates
- Conduct implementation evaluations post completion to identify any unresolved issues and monitor performance

Provide Health Roster training, including the delivery of tailored courses to meet the needs of specific groups, as required.
- Develop & deliver guides for e-Rostering training
- Ensure that Roster Best Practice and Guidance is communicated and readily available to users.
- Identify topics that require further training and refer these to Opreations Team Manager for ongoing development and delivery
- Conduct training evaluations; monitor and make changes to training sessions as appropriate to feedback received
- Ensure record of training plan and bookings is maintained
- Maintain and communicate the performance of the Trust rosters against set KPIs on a regular basis
- Advise and communicate process changes required for effective rostering practices and achieving sustained performance
- Assist with the e-Rostering review meetings, provide support and advice to the roster managers, Clinical leads and divisional leads.

Provide regular performance andimprovement data
- Support e-Rostering team colleagues in the rollout and management of new and existing eRostering system functionalities
- Support the Trust to deliver e-Rostering KPIs through expanding and promoting effective use of the e-Rostering system and drive the implementation of Lord Carter’s recommendations ensuring achievement of NHSE Attainment levels.
