Acorn is recruiting for a Machine Operator, to be based in Honiton.
Working for the UK's leading manufacturer of super-absorbent and super soft sponge products for beauty and body-care.
Immediate start that is based on a full-time, temporary contract, going permanent after 12 weeks
Hours: 8am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate: £10 per hour initially
Role responsibilities:

- Preparation of product mixes
- Monitoring and filling of castings on foaming machines
- Extraction of the sponge castings from the moulds
- Loading of the sponge castings to the Hydro-extractors
- Recording all relevant data required on the production sheets
- Carrying out testing procedures for all product
- Casting storage and drying
- Monitoring of the effluent tank
Training will be provided
