We are looking to recruit enthusiastic Band 3 Ward Clerks to join our busy Acute Medical Unit. Our reception desk operates on a rotating shift basis to ensure that the area is staffed from 8:00 to 20:00, Monday to Friday. The post holder will be expected work the occasional weekend.

The following posts are available (these will be discussed at interview):

- Part Time 34.5 hours per week
- Part Time 30 hours per week

The post holder will play a key role in the patient's journey through the inpatient ward and in the clinic setting. A professional and friendly manner is essential, together with the ability to multitask and use initiative and discretion at all times. Confidentiality is also an important aspect of this post. The post holder will be an important link between the unit's nursing staff, clinical staff, patients, and other departments within the Trust.
