Challs are experts in developing and manufacturing specialist cleaning products, including drain care, bin care, technology cleaning and traditional chemicals. They have built a reputation for changing the way people clean and they continue to expand and developa successful portfolio of market leading brands across the globe through category leading innovation and pioneering new products. Innovation is integral to what they do and they have international awards to prove it. In the UK they are category leaders intwo markets, supplying all the major supermarkets as well and independent retailers and online platforms.
Challs International consistently strives to be as eco responsible as possible by investing in their products, premises and technology to assist with our goal of reducing their eco footprint. They even harvest energy from rainwater and solar panels.
**BACKGROUND**
Due to the continued growth of the business Challs are now looking to strengthen the core marketing team and appoint a Head of Marketing to provide leadership and strategic direction across all global markets to take the business to the next level. The Headof Marketing will report to the Managing Director and has significant growth potential, including a Board position. This person will lead an experienced marketing team in the UK and will also work closely with the international team and partners around theworld to define and execute tailored marketing strategies.
**KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**
Key areas of responsibility will include:

- Brand Strategy & Planning across all markets
- Communications
- Portfolio & Pricing
- Capability building
- Leadership
- Relevant degree and ideally MBA
- Proven track record in building brands
- Significant experience in FMCG, including working with the major multiples and ecommerce
- Proven leadership and working as a team player
- People management and development experience
- Ability to create a vision, develop and implement a strategic plan
- Strong commercial acumen and financial awareness
