Juventas is looking for a **Residential Childcare Practitioner **to assist in the running of our Registered Children's Home based in Costessey, Norfolk.
**The role**
Juventas cares for looked-after children in residential and semi-independent supported accommodation so they can live a positive and meaningful life as they approach adulthood.
We're now looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Residential Childcare Practitioner to join our team.
As Residential Childcare Practitioner you'll be:
- Ensuring that all children and young people have their needs met and are safeguarded from harm, neglect, abuse or exploitation
- Responding to any childcare concerns appropriately
- Ensuring that the building, equipment and furniture in the home is well maintained
- Working effectively and co-ordinating with social workers, parents/guardians and other connected professional agencies
You'll have:
- A UK driving licence, and the ability to reliably commute to the home
- A strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
