The post holder will provide a high level, efficient, comprehensive and confidential admin support service to Bassetlaw Local Mental Health Team within Adult Mental Health in Worksop, Nottinghamshire.

The roles require an experienced individual who has a flexible approach to work and the ability to prioritise and work on their own initiative. This will include maintaining patient related records/databases making appointments and preparing correspondence.

To work as part of a local administrative team. Provide cover in the absence of colleagues and where service demands, this may include cover at other sites.

To undertake office duties including diary management and message management, opening and distributing mail, attend and minute weekly meetings, dealing with electronic telephony system calls and enquiries, production of minutes, documents, typing, uploading and photocopying, collating of documents and electronic filing as well as general administration support services.

To carry out all aspects of clerical and administrative support.

Maintain health care records including computerised systems and
databases.

Some Reception duties including monitoring patients & visitor attendance, contacting clinicians for walk in clients. To receive and make internal and external telephone calls from staff, service users / patients, members of the public and external agencies ensuring that messages received are appropriately signposted and actioned.

Type correspondence, as required.

Co-ordinating healthcare appointments for patients.

Word process correspondence including letters, memos and typing reports.

Will be required to take notes/minutes at team meetings.

Book appointments and schedule in diaries, send out paperwork and relay to clinical team colleagues.

Room Bookings.

Filing and photocopying, scan and upload documents.

To implement and maintain adequate filing and follow up systems.

Transfer of individual and bulk files for archiving between locations
Input clinical data and maintain.

Identify health and safety practices that are appropriate to self and
others.

To participate in appropriate training courses and updates in accordance
with mandatory requirements and undertake a personal development
plan My Annual Review’.

Working as a team to provide cover for sickness and annual leave, as
and when required.

To undertake any other duties that would be a reasonable expectation of the role.
