Senior Aerospace Weston, located in Lancashire, England, is a leading supplier of a wide range of complex precision machined components, and sub
- assemblies for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs’) predominantly in the commercial aviation market sector. Our experience and core capabilities support multiple segments of an aircraft’s build, including the manufacture of engine compressor and fan components, engine pylon mounting brackets, pintles, wing ribs and associated aero-structure components. We aim to support our customers with a complete solution, including supply chain management and delivery of line-side kits where appropriate.

**What does the job involve?**

The control of all incoming treatments for both Aerostructures and Aerofoils business.

**What will my responsibilities include?**
- Attending facility daily meetings to communicate the material position and maintain delivery expectations.
- Send current work lists (schedules to suppliers) weekly, to reflect operational demand.
- Ensure purchase order schedules reflect the current delivery position.
- Report on late deliveries to Head of Purchasing and Operational Team and understand the reasons behind the late deliveries.
- Expedite all open orders in the commodity and actively manage the delivery of schedule with suppliers as part of the day-to-day transactions.
- Generate and distribute supplier OTIF details monthly.
- Maintain good communication with suppliers.

**What key skills, experience and qualifications should I have?**
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proven track record in a purchasing / procurement role demonstrating robustness, supply chain management, desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience in Aerospace or engineering desirable but no essential.
