It is essential that you hold a PhD in Bioinformatics or Statistical Genetics, and have strong postdoctoral experience in analysis and interpretation of human whole genome sequencing data. You will have previous experience with relational databases and SQL language. Prior responsibility for developing, improving and maintaining bioinformatics pipelines using a workflow management system like Nextflow, Snakemake or WDL, and demonstrating commitment to quality and version control and secure data management, is required.
This post is offered full-time on a fixed term until 28 February 2025, and is funded by the Medical Research Council.
