**Responsibilities**:

- Perform complex data analysis on NGS datasets, including but not limited to genomics, transcriptomics, and epigenomics
- Develop and implement bioinformatics pipelines for data processing, quality control, alignment, variant calling, and annotation
- Design and execute statistical analyses and data visualization to identify patterns, trends, and biological insights
- Collaborate with researchers to understand project objectives, provide guidance on experimental design, and interpret analysis results
- Contribute to the development and optimization of bioinformatics software and tools to enhance data processing, analysis, and interpretation
- Lead and mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and support
- Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders on collaborative research projects
- Participate in the preparation of scientific publications, reports, and grant proposals

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Bioinformatician, with a focus on NGS data analysis
- Strong proficiency in bioinformatics tools, programming languages (e.g., Python, R, Perl), and relevant software packages (e.g., BWA, GATK, SAMtools)
- Extensive knowledge of genomics, transcriptomics, and/or epigenomics data analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in statistical analysis, data visualization, and interpretation of large-scale biological datasets
- Solid understanding of biological databases, genome annotations, and public repositories (e.g., NCBI, ENSEMBL, UCSC)
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) clusters and cloud-based infrastructures
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- MSc or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with single-cell genomics or metagenomics data analysis
- Knowledge of machine learning and data mining techniques applied to genomics research
- Familiarity with data integration and multi-omics analysis approaches
- Track record of scientific publications and contributions to the bioinformatics community
