Title: Junior Land Acquisition Specialist

Start: Asap

Location: Scotland - West (2 days a week in the office + remote work)

**Salary**: 40k - 50k + 20% bonus + healthcare + pension

About the Team

Our renewable development team focus on identifying and developing suitable renewable energy project opportunities. We handle the grid connection, land agreements, and planning processes necessary to achieve successful project development. Post-development, our in-house team manages project delivery and long-term operation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Identifying and engaging with potential landowners.
- Conducting initial feasibility assessments.
- Negotiating Terms.
- Supporting the preparation and registration of land agreements, including leases, options, wayleaves, and letters of authority, while managing the necessary legal support.

Key Skills and Experience
- A qualification in Land/Legal/Planning (degree level as a minimum).
- At least 2 years of experience in a Land Acquisition role
- RICS qualification.
- Experience in land assembly and managing land budgets.
- Experience in legal support to prepare and finalize land agreements.
- Understanding of planning and consenting processes.
- Experience in contract preparation and managing tender processes (including consultancy services).
- Experience with laising with stakeholders, including regulators, statutory consultees, and local communities.
- Experience in managing busgets
- Ability to translate technical details into commercial impact.
- Ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
