Who are Velocity?

Velocity was established in January 2007 and is an independent recruiter in the North East of England. We specialise in temporary, contract and permanent recruitment across the logistic, Industrial, Commercial & Engineering sectors supplying staff with full UK coverage.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm,

Experience

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a 360 recruitment position.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

- Supporting colleagues with time management and organisational skills.
- Working with clients and building relationships in order to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs and requirements.
- Developing a good understanding of our clients, their industry, what they do and their work culture and environment.
- Plan and carry out proactive sales activities to maintain and develop customer relationships. Also increase the client database into regular accounts and achieve personal targets.
- Preparing CV’s and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing of clients.
- Reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programs.
- Inform clients of services available and provide additional information and quotations as necessary.
- You will be required to be part of a rota for oncall, (you will receive £300 plus 1/2 day holiday for each weekend while you are on call).
