**The role**:
We are looking for an adaptable and motivated Residential Experience Coordinator to join our Residential Life team. The Residential Life team develops and maintains a positive student experience for all students in University accommodation, ensuring that student wellbeing is supported. This is delivered through individual advice, guidance and support and by building a sense of community through events and activities, accessible dialogue and a positive approach.

Residential Experience Coordinators play a key role in this, supporting Junior Common Room committees (JCRs) and the Chief and Senior Residents (CSRs). JCRs and CSRs live within University managed and partnership accommodation where they design and deliver inclusive, community building events for students.

**What will you be doing?**:
With direction from the Residential Life team, you will work closely with JCRs and teams across the University including the Students’ Union to support inclusive community building within University accommodation.

You will provide support for JCRs to plan large events, such as the Constitution Ball, deliver training and support student voice campaigns.
- You have previous experience delivering successful events for students or young people.
- You are motivated and a self-starter, solving problems independently.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills, building effective working relationships with both University staff and students.
- You enjoy working in a busy team.

**Additional information**:
This is a 12 month fixed term contract

It is anticipated interviews will be held w/c 20 February 2023
