Danske Futures is our Higher-Level Apprenticeship programme which allows you to study part time whilst gaining invaluable experience within a financial institution. This is a permanent opportunity where you’ll earn a salary from the start. Your degree is fully funded by us, and upon successful completion you’ll have a BSc Hons degree in ‘Leading on Customer Operations’ from Ulster University.

**Why you’ll want to work with us**

Danske Bank recognises the power that comes with diversity of thought and perspective, it makes us stronger as a business and creates a true sense of belonging for our colleagues. To be the best we can be, we depend on diverse thinking, beliefs, experiences, and backgrounds. We have a clear purpose - **Helping our Customers, Colleagues & Society thrive**:

- and our Diversity and Inclusion Strategy is central to that. We recognise that everyone does not have an equitable starting point, and, by focusing on ‘equality’, we are making sure that everyone has an equal opportunity to reach their full potential. Our customers come from all walks of life, and so should our colleagues. We have multiple affinity networks across our business which are colleague led and help us to connect together based on shared identities, purpose and common interests.

Driving sustainability is a key strategic priority for us. We’re proud to have achieved Platinum Level in the 2022 Northern Ireland Environmental Benchmarking Survey and we’re working hard to help our customers go green.

We’re passionate about giving back to the communities in which we live and work. There are lots of ways you can get involved, such as fundraising for our charity partner, visiting schools to teach young people about money and budgeting, volunteering with a local food bank, planting trees, and so much more.

No wonder we are recognised by Best Companies as Northern Ireland’s number one best company to work for. So, if you share our values and enthusiasm and all of what we stand for resonates with you, then you will find a home at Danske Bank.

**The Role**

Danske Futures opportunities sit within our Personal Banking and Operations functions. You’ll learn continuously, adding huge value and making a real impact on our business and our customers while being supported through your part-time studies. You’ll balance studying with meaningful work which will make a real impact on our Bank, earning and learning at the same time.

Roles include:

- **Customer Service Adviser (Branch) **As a Branch Customer Service Advisor, you will handle customer’s day to day banking queries, assist with their digital questions, open new accounts, provide information on new products, manage customer meetings, basically delivering that outstanding customer service we are famous for
- **Customer Service Adviser (Contact Centre) **As a Customer Service Adviser in Customer Direct you’ll quite often be our customer’s first point of contact. You will help with queries about our products and our services, providing an efficient, professional response. But it’s much more than answering questions; you are demonstrating our commitment to exceptional customer experience in every customer interaction whether that’s voice or digital.
- **Customer Support Officer (Customer Support Team) **As a Customer Support Officer, will perform processing/administrative activities ensuring that all quality and service standards are achieved efficiently, accurately, in accordance with policies and procedures and within required timescales, maintaining industry and regulatory compliance.

**Danske Futures expectations**:
As Northern Ireland’s leading bank our customers are at the heart of everything we do, it’s no surprise that everyone here at Danske Bank carries that customer centric ethos too and are passionate about helping our customers.

As part of the Danske Futures Programme, you’ll demonstrate this passion for customer service, and the confidence with the drive to always act with integrity. You’ll be someone who works well as part of a team and is passionate about and will thrive working in an environment of continuous learning, high-quality and collaboration.

Balancing studying and work require a level of working of your own initiative, resilience, determination, and motivation. You’ll be fully supported but you need to embrace the challenge. Therefore, you will be expected to effectively manage your time, perform effectively in work but also fully immerse yourself in your studies
