**We are Ginns & Gutteridge Funeral Directors in Leicester. Established over 100 years ago, we have had the honour of helping many of our local families arrange dignified and personal funerals for their loved ones.**

Ginns & Gutteridge Funeral Directors are looking for a professional and compassionate individual to join our collaborative and dedicated team as a Receptionist. **What Will I Be Doing As A Receptionist?**

As a Receptionist, you will be one of the very first points of contact for our families. You will work alongside our teams to ensure that the funerals are delivered at the highest standard whilst also meeting the personable requests of the families.

**Other duties will include**:

- Create a welcoming, safe and caring atmosphere
- Support the Funeral Service Arrangers with tasks as and when required
- Produce various letters and invoices for clients as required and answer queries when appropriate
- Maintain excellent service to client’s who telephone or call the branch
- Assemble the information required for submission to Head Office by means of weekly courier collections
- Input information into a computer using the COMPASS system or any successive system that the company may introduce

**What Do I Need?**
- A Full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not essential)
- Previous experience in a Customer Service or Receptionist position.
- Proactive approach and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, both in-person and remotely.
- Computer skills, e.g. Microsoft word, spreadsheets
- Presentable at all times, acting with professional conduct and showing empathy.
- Excellent attention to detail is essential.
- A passion for customer service.

**Advantageous**:

- Previous experience in the industry, though this is not required, as full training will be provided.
