As a Seasonal Events & Promotional Assistant you will support the Marketing & PR Team with promotion, organisation and delivery of events and activities in Milford Haven, Pembroke Port and offsite, as well as assisting with general duties to support the team as required.

**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILTIES**
- To ensure an enjoyable and safe guest experience at all Port of Milford Haven hosted and supported events.
- To support the Destination Manager / Events Assistant with promotion, organisation, and delivery of events at Milford Haven, Pembroke Port and offsite.
- To support the Marketing and PR team with general duties as required.
- Provide guests and visitors with helpful key information.
- Maintain high levels of customer service.
- Other duties of a similar level as required.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**Essential**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills including strong communication and presentation skills
- Customer service experience
- Understanding of Health & Safety
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Good IT skills
- Ability to work on own and with mínimal supervision.
- Hard working and Enthusiastic

**Desirable**:

- Experience in a tourism role
- Previous experience of working at events
- The ability to speak Welsh

**SPECIAL CONDITIONS**

This post will be seasonal, starting in May 2024 and necessitate flexible working hours on a casual basis. This will include weekends, bank holidays and some evening working.
