**Purpose of the Role**:
Assist the Business Support Manager and Sales Director in supporting the sales department, servicing of the house accounts and supporting the Business Development Managers in optimising their time with customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Raising new jobs on the jobs database, ensuring incomplete jobs are reprogrammed and costed for work in progress purposes at the end of each month.
- Dealing with customer enquiries / query resolving.
- Work closely with Operations to work smart and collaboratively.
- Supporting and administrating the business development managers in numerous tasks.
- Managing the house accounts and providing quotations ensuring they are followed up.
- Keeping Big Change and sales opportunity up to date and accurate reflecting live stages of the quotes.
- Taking and assisting with any inbound calls, dealing with reactive sales works, domestic jobs etc.
- Ensuring booked in works have all appropriate documentation and information for works and this is passed over to operations department.
- Followed up on quotes within 7 days to win repeat business.
- Providing cover for the sales department if and when required.
- Business support demands when required such as supporting the sales team with building of “noncomplex” quotations. Assistance / cover for invoicing, pricing basic jobs. Completion and flagging of jobs.
- Follow up with customers from jobs on previous day, checking job cards and feedback from engineers.

- Follow up on quotes within 7 days.
- Assist with reaching house account quarterly targets.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Good attitude with desire to learn.
- Experience working in an office/ site environment (1 year minimum).
- Experience using Microsoft packages (advanced Excel desirable but not essential).
- Higher level education (desirable but not essential).

**Personal Skills**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Polite and approachable at all times.
- Excellent telephone and negotiation skills.
- Must be detail conscious with a high regard for accuracy and well organised.
- Excellent administration skills are required.
- Has a ‘can do/will do’ attitude.
- Analysis of own performance and takes steps to improve this.
- Remains focused when faced with competing demands.
- Keeps people informed of progress on key tasks.
- Adapts their communication style to suit their customer / colleagues, responding to their feedback or queries.
