Due to retirement and expansion we are seeking an enthusiastic, personable receptionist to join our friendly dedicated team.

Previous experience in a reception/administrative role **essential**. Experience in a veterinary receptionist/administrative role **advantageous**.

Vacancy Hours:

- Monday 2pm - 7pm
- Tuesday 2pm - 7pm
- Wednesday 2pm - 7pm
- Friday 2pm - 7pm
- Please note that we do expect team members to work on a Saturday morning (830-1pm) when required to cover holiday and/or sick. _

Duties include:

- Answering the phones
- Speaking with clients
- Booking in appointments
- Taking payments
- Dealing with general inquiries
- Cashing up
- Keeping the practice neat and orderly
- Administrative duties, such as registering clients on the practice pet/equine health plan
- Processing insurance claims
- Taking prescription orders

We are a North Yorkshire based RCVS accredited mixed practice. We pride ourselves on providing excellent veterinary care and gold standard customer service.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
