Marlwood School is excited to be recruiting for a Data Officer to manage all aspects of our MIS system (SIMS) and other related data systems such as FFT and SmartGrade. We are looking for a professional, collaborative and self-starting individual who has experience with MIS systems. The role includes responsibility for the monitoring and collating of a range of school data; ensuring the data is accurate; and reporting data both internally and externally. Admissions, timetable changes and census collation are also all key parts of the role.

This is a term time only role (including INSET days), with a requirement to work the Exam Results days during the school holidays.

**About the role**

Hours: 17.5 hours per week. Contract is term time only, plus 5 INSET days plus 2 days in August for exam results days.

**Salary**: £24,496 FTE, £10,023 prorated

**About you**

You have data management experience as well as being personable, with exceptional communication skills. Multi-tasking will be easy for you and you will have excellent organisational skills. It is essential that you have demonstrable ICT skills including Microsoft Excel skills and preferably have a degree of confidence when it comes to using basic formulas to manipulate data. Experience of using SIMS is highly desirable.
